Miguel Buid is a Philippine-based photographer specializing in advertising and commercial photography.

​

Buid helps local and international brands encourage brand awareness through advertising photography. He works with certain ideas, concepts, and emotions and transforms them into photographs. When working with clients he always makes sure to give them high-quality services such as hassle-free communication, fast turnaround time, and specific mood boards and direction.

Despite his young age, he already has a strong body of work in the advertising photography industry. Buid has worked on campaigns for Tanqueray Philippines, Diageo Philippines, Vintage Grail, and many more.

His precise attention to detail, exquisite control of light, and ability to express an idea through photographs made his photos recognized on various platforms such as the Gifts of Grail Magazine, Tatler Philippines, posters, and billboards.

Before becoming a photographer, Buid assisted various photographers where he learned about photography, business, and art. He assisted photographers such as Wesley Villarica, Kim Diaz, and Jan Mayo.

 

Outside work, Buid is an adventurer, a hiker, and a traveler. He loves to get in touch with nature and appreciate the earth's beauty.
